PBT Treasure Hunting Events!

Single-Day Events

Captain Blue Eye's Treasure Huntin' Events be a unique experience, quite different from simply purchasin' a treasure map and settin' out on yer own adventure. The Captain's Treasure Hunts vary from single day pirate themed events in one location to multi-location adventures spannin' thousands of miles! Single-day treasure hunts be events where multiple teams set out on an adventure to plunder the treasures hidden. Each item discovered be assessed a point value with Pirate Coins having an additional cash value as well. The team with the most points at the end of the day wins the treasure hunt and each team plunderin' Pirate Gold gets to keep their coins or surrender them for cash!

To maintain the integrity of The Captain's treasure hunts, the exact location of the single-day events be only released to Registered Teams on the evenin' before the day of the treasure hunt. Treasure hunts be held at state or national parks and usually last from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Capture The Flag

Capture The Flag events be randon n' usually take place on The Great Peninsula (Landlubbers call this place Florida). Once a flag has made landfall, a picture of the flag in front of the state/national park be posted on our FB timeline. Some flags may be single, bringin' a reward to the team providin' proof of recovery, while other flags may be part of a series, which shall bring greater rewards if multiple flags in a series be recovered by the same team. In addition to The Captain's Flag, other items of value be placed as well from treasure chests to valuable pieces of information n' everything in between. There be no schedule, there be no timeline n' there be no fee.

Crew Adventures

Crew Adventures be vast in nature n' location. Some locations may be near yer home port while others within the same series may be hundreds or thousands of miles away on distand shores! Crew Adventures tend to require careful plannin' n' execution. Each destination comes with multiple opportunities to be rewarded. Some opportunities involve plundering treasure chests, while others involve takin' the right picture or series of pictures n' postin' on our FB timeline.

There also be special Trade Goods at Destination Locations. Returnin' the right Trade Goods to The Captain be earnin' yer crew a reward sufficiently more than their initial cost. Information regardin' specific Trade Goods be available here n' there. Do yer research n' take notes fer future reference!

There be seven different series of locations within the Crew Adventures category. Each series has multiple locations with various locations secretly tagged with associated Destination Treasure Hunts! If yer crew be the first pirate crew to visit a targeted location n' successfuly complete a photo challenge, ye be given a Destination Treasure Hunt. Destination Treasure Hunts only be revealed to the first pirate crew to successfully complete any photo challenge at that specific location!

Individual Treasure Hunts

There be many many individual treasure hunts available to those interested in partakin' in adventures by themselves or with yer crew.

As of January 1st, 2018 there be treasures in 49 out of 50 states (still missing Alaska after all these years), as well as multiple islands in the Caribbean, The Bahamas n' even CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private Island! Individual treasure hunts be broken down to individual states n' The Captain does not provide individual treasure hunts for specific state or national parks. If ye order a treasure hunt fer a state, it shall be fer a state or national park within yer selected state. Treasure maps be made to order n' may take a few days to ship. The Yeoman must verify The Captain's database to ensure no previously claimed treasures be noted on new treasure maps.
