More experienced pirates have been known to satisfy all tasks within a Letter of Mark relatively quickly, but most take considerable time and effort to accomplish. Two points to ponder regardin' LOM's be as follows: 1st - The greater the reward, the greater the difficulty. 2nd - Don't over think a given task. If a task be confusin', move on to another task, then come back with a fresh perspective.
Some LOM's may focus on specific points of interest within close range of each other, others may require a bit of travel to complete all of the tasks noted within the LOM. There be both Public & Private LOM's available. Public LOM's be available for all pirates n crews to exploit. Private LOM's be assigned to individual pirates & crews.
Public LOM's be readily available fer everyone to partake n the challenges, but these be rewarded on a "First Complete, First Reward" basis. The first crew to complete a Public LOM shall receive the greatest reward. The second and third crews to complete the same LOM shall receive subordinate rewards. Subsequent completions by additional crews shall receive the standard reward assigned to that LOM. Rewards fer Private LOM's be clearly noted within the LOM. Private LOM's be registered to an individual pirate or crew. Once the LOM has been completed n reward issued, the Private LOM shall be removed from The Captain's database. No additional rewards shall be issued fer that specific Private LOM.
